What this service is

VentBuddy provides general educational content and AI-generated supportive conversation. “Your unpaid therapist” is a tagline, not a professional credential. VentBuddy is not a licensed therapist, therapy service, or medical service, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency response.

Who should use it

You must be able to understand these terms and use the service lawfully. If local rules require a parent or guardian's permission, obtain that permission before using the service. Do not rely on the service for decisions that require a qualified professional.

Your responsibility

AI replies can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Use your own judgment, verify important information, and seek qualified help for health, legal, financial, safety, or other high-impact decisions. You are responsible for messages you choose to send to other people after drafting them here.

Safety and emergencies

Do not use VentBuddy as a crisis response service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis service and reach a trusted person who can be physically present. Country-specific crisis contacts are available through Find A Helpline.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to threaten, harass, exploit, deceive, impersonate, violate another person's privacy, distribute unlawful material, interfere with the service, or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to use.

Content and intellectual property

The site's design, branding, and original public guides belong to VentBuddy or its licensors. You may link to public guides and quote short excerpts with attribution. You keep responsibility for the content you enter and grant only the limited processing permission needed to provide the requested response.

Availability and changes

The service may change, pause, or stop without guarantee. Features can be added or removed, and these terms may be updated as the service develops. Material changes should be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.

Limitation

The service is provided on an as-available basis without a promise that every reply or public guide will meet your needs. To the extent permitted by law, VentBuddy is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on the service.
